Customer Reviews
I love the rescue team! They are always so kind and efficient for those of us who rescue the senior and medical dogs. Jacklyn and Aimee are fantastic. This is Velma #a2246443 and Julia #a2247335 ... two medical grannies that my rescue saved.
PARVO PARVO PARVO adopted a sweet 12 week old puppy Playful, happy all around amazing! Visited her muti times till she became available. We adopted the dog the same day she became available but they decided to tell us she can’t go home till 5 days later… now 5 days later and after moving her into a different area when she cannot be seen. We get a call that she now has PARVO blood on stool, not eating, playing, moving, drinking. I’m I’m supposed to believe the lady working there telling me she got it from someone walking in with poop other shoe? Uh maybe from the hundred of piles of diarrhea in every cage that those dogs are walking around in because of the lack of purple to clean and take these dogs out. It’s is a horrible place. The dog got sick from the lack of cleanliness. There play a
Adopted a puppy, and she had to wait there 5 days to get fixed. She ended up getting Parvo while in this shelter. Unable to afford the necessary hospital treatment, I had to give her rights to them again. Didn’t even get to bring her home… Was told the parvo was probably brought in on someone’s shoe and that’s how she got it. And not from the lack of care of the animals. She got moved from an outside cage to an indoor one, then fell ill. Questioning their sanitation procedures, and very frustrated with the fact that she fell ill under their care, and im the one that would have to pay for it. Unhelpful, and uncaring.
Went here after having a horrible experience at the South LA shelter, and the it was like night and day. The facility is clean for the most part…tho understaffed, the people working there were extremely kind a helpful. They made the entire process of adoption quick and easy. I was in and out in less than an hour with my new little doggy! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new pet.
Adopted my precious Allie here about 8 years ago. I remember it was quick and easy and we went on a weekend when cat adoptions were free! Allie is living her best, lazy life now. Please consider adopting, there are so many furry companions looking for a loving home! Donate your blankets and towels and toys or volunteer if you can. I also volunteered years ago and fell in love with all these precious souls.
