I am writing this with an extremely heavy heart and the hope that no other family experiences what mine did. My dog had documented bloodwork in the second week of January showing an elevated white blood cell count, clearly indicating an active infection. Despite this, no treatment plan was initiated and no antibiotic was started at that time. Throughout her care, I never saw the same veterinarian twice. Communication was handled almost entirely by technicians, and every follow-up was initiated by me. As my dog continued to decline, I repeatedly expressed concern and pushed for treatment, specifically requesting antibiotics. I was consistently advised to pursue additional diagnostics instead. I declined further testing at that moment because treatment for a known infection should not be d

Update: has been a week since they responded and yet no call to clarify or attempt to understand what had happen. Really disappointed. But on a better note found a vet that truly took the time to listen and guide us through best steps. silver lining to everything. I recently brought my dog in for a visit and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed with the overall experience. The primary issue was a significant lack of communication from the veterinary team. Throughout the appointment, there was little clarity about what the next steps should be or what to expect moving forward. As a pet owner, clear communication is essential when it comes to the health and well-being of your animal. I understand that veterinary practices can be busy, but that should never come at the expense of tr

I cannot reconcile the 4.8 star average rating with the horrible, uncaring, unresponsive service we received at this practice. We brought our 7 year old, very small (5-6 lb.) cat in on a Monday because she was losing weight and having bathroom accidents. Blood tests lead to an $800 ultrasound on four days later on Friday, with no interim advice or possible solutions, zero sense of urgency. No weekend follow up after the ultrasound, then the office closed on Monday for a snow day with zero coverage by phone or email until very late in the day after repeat calls/voicemails/texts. Poor cat was doing very poorly by the end of Monday and ended up in the ER, where we were told she was in late stage kidney failure. The vet finally called us the next day and showed zero compassion, wanted to do mo

Dr. Murtha and his staff are amazing. They’re knowledgeable and work really well with my pup. She got MFLS on her right hind knee and she is recovering great. The surgery went as planned, and Dr. Murtha walked me through the entire process and all alternative process before I made a decision. I highly recommend NAHAH. Lucy is 9 and has the energy of a puppy so knee surgery was necessary. I went to several surgeons before deciding to work with Dr. Murtha.
