After my application was thoroughly vetted by a New Dawn's staff I asked them to match me up with a dog of certain characteristics that would be appropriate for my home. They chose Molly (Dottie) for us. She is healthy, well adjusted,socialized. Dawn treats all of her rescues as her own. With love, patience and care. And she makes sure that the homes they are placed in do too. If you are not seriously prepared to make a long term commitment of prioritizing the care of a new family member then maybe this isn't the right time and place. Dottie has changed my life. I'm getting a lot of exercise, my blood pressure is down, I'm breathing better and my other 11 year old dog is acting like a puppy. Some might say we rescued Dottie. I say she rescued us.

My heart is big for this organization! It's a small animal shelter ran by volunteers that put some much love into the community and our animal friends. What a blessing we have with New Dawn. I encourage all who are seeking to adopt a pet to please see New Dawn Animal Rescue. Side little note: if you are a Kroger shopper with a Kroger card you can log into to Kroger and they have community rewards you can choose from. New Dawn is a choice you can pick as your community reward participant. Krogers donates money to the community reward participant you pick on your behalf. It cost you nothing. You just click your choice and that's it Kroger's sends donations off based on your spending. Your new fur friend is pre-loved at New Dawn! The volunteers and owner really do prepare the pet for living in a fur-ever home.

New dawn is the best animal rescue they really care about the pets and finding them the best home possible. This is Heidi shes our new princess.

This shelter is amazing. The staff is incredible, and everyone works for free. It is all volunteer work from people with big hearts. They take great care of the dogs. All the dogs they have are sweet dogs looking for a good home. I highly recommend this place when it comes to adopting a dog.
