I never leave bad reviews for anyone but I have to cause I had the most terrible experience with the vet here and the staff. Do think twice before bringing your pet here, I got my dog here for vaccines, the staff made me hold the leash, even suggested I help them put the vaccination for my dog cause my dog barked and wiggled when they came closer. Dogs bark, and especially if they are scared. As vets you should know that. They kept giving me sedatives to give my dog before bringing him there and kept postponing the appointment. They are extremely incapable and incompetent to handle a pet. The vet himself is extremely paranoid and lacks experience along with his technician/ nurse who abandons first. The receptionist was helpful but that’s it. The vets lack experience so please don’t waste y

Doctors are good and friendly. All front desk people are not. I have been seeing 2 or 3 different front desk and they were super unhappy for the most of time. Just wondering how sad it is to work? Price here is not cheap and I do deserve a better service.

Newport Veterinary Center has a special place in my heart. A few weeks back, I was in desperate need to get my hamster seen by a vet, and to no avail after countless calls to other places, I thought we were going to lose her. It wasn’t until I called this location that I felt someone actually cared. Right away, I felt the warmth and compassion… and luckily they were able to promptly help…Showing so much kindness, even for a little hamster life. Our Nibbles was very sick, but thanks to everyone we got precious extra time with her and I’ll be forever thankful. Thank you so much.

We did a follow up visit which included a blood test and a nail clipping. One nail. The charge was 450.00. Gouging. It's because of people like this that the veterinarian industry needs to be regulated.

I really wanted to like this place because the staff was wonderful but the lack of transparency in pricing is extremely alarming. I took my 4-year old dog for an annual visit yesterday, where she got a blood test and 3 shots. It was $446, which I though was high but I didn’t raise a fuss since I knew she had gotten a couple extra shots (like the flu shot) which I knew were pricey. Everything was fine until they call me today to tell me they also forgot to charge me for the fecal test, which will be an additional $134. I’m all-in $580 for my dog’s annual visit, with absolutely no discussion as to cost or pricing beforehand. Nothing posted on the website. Extremely disappointing.
