New Britain Veterinary Clinic

They have been taking care of my pups for years now. My girl has passed and my boy is 13. They have known exactly what was needed with every issue or concern. My boy is high anxiety. They treat him with care and compassion. They are very thorough and always explain my options. I've never had a problem getting an appointment!

We’ve been bringing our dog to this clinic for over a year now. The people are all friendly and service oriented. Their groomer is great. The doctors are knowledgeable. Everyone is lovely. We are really excited about the remodel going on over there, because they really deserve a glow-up. The building - though beautiful - was showing its age in a lot of places. We are excited for them!

My dog had her acl repaired back in 2022. The staff was so kind and gentle with her. She's a large bully breed and we never once felt judged for her breed and were instantly welcomed. They also made room in their schedule to get her repaired and out of pain as quick as possible. The surgery went very well and her incision sight was beautiful, can hardly see a scar 3 years later. We've unfortunately found ourselves in a similar position, now with her other knee. Once again the staff is working quickly to get her the care that she needs. We feel welcomed and safe with the staff here. They are so incredibly sweet with my girl and, all though it is scary, I feel safe dropping her off in their care. I cannot recommend them enough!

Its funny, iv been going here for years and now that I dont have any reason to go, I only now thought of writing a review. Dr. Bandekar is knowledgeable and both her and the techs are a great combination of compassionate and realistic. Professional and nice, if someone was having a bad day, I never knew it. I drove 45-60 minutes one way each time without hesitation. Side note I have no idea what the policy is on the condolence cards, are and if its a cringe mandatory concept like a waiter having to track down other servers to help sing a happy birthday or team building group projects but the sentiment was not lost and going forward ill try and be less sarcastic towards things of that nature in my own life because it really was nice to receive.

I recently took my toy cockapoo, Winston, to New Britain Veterinary Clinic for an emergency visit. Dr Bandakar and her staff were wonderful. They gave my pup a thorough exam, treated him with caring hands and voices, and calmed my fears. The doctor did some tests and prescribed medication which helped my little one feel better. I will definitely be going to NBvets for all my visits and I will happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top-notch veterinarian. Joyce H
