I can’t say enough good things about this shelter. During a time when things were tight for me, they stepped in and helped with dog food so my pups didn’t have to go without. That kind of support means more than people realize. They treated me with kindness and zero judgment. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and the people who love them. Because of them, I was able to keep my dogs healthy and fed while getting back on my feet. I’m incredibly grateful for what they do for the community. If you’re looking to support a shelter that truly makes a difference, this is the one.

They took my cat immediately and were so kind..I had to give him up as I was moving outta state and couldn't find anyone to take him...I pray that he's doing well and finds a good home

Helped me spay my service dog when she was 1.5 years old but I had a friend whose family abandoned her dog (this friend was in highschool with me and was a minor so she didn't have a say). He was put into their care and put into an outdoor kennel with dog he didn't get along with for a long time. I'm pretty sure he was adopted recently. They do have friendly staff and a well kept facility especially considering the short staff and financial struggles that come with the territory of owning a rescue out here. I do think they should take the dogs inside during the summer and winter but that's not always an option which is understandable.

This place is amazing. They do a lot of great things for animals. Pat loves what she does and is very passionate about it, and so is her staff. Everyone is very friendly, polite, and care deeply about their cause and the animals. We actually adopted a puppy, and he fits right into our little animal tribe. What's amazing is that this place is run completely on donations! A lot of heart, soul, and caring go into everyday operations. It's definitely worth stopping by to donate, volunteer, or adopt.

I recently adopted this good boy today at Bobs smoke shop located on basin rd. He is so calm, well mannered, and so smart. He already knows how to sit! I want to thank all the people that volunteer here that take care of these animals because I know they take the time to spend time with them and give them love. He has some siblings left if anyone wants to adopt I highly recommend. He’s apart of the family now. Thank you Bob for doing this.
