Nature of the Dog -Boarding & Daycare Facility

Such a gem of a place! Jackie knows canine behavior and takes the time each morning to group dogs according to their compatibility. And it is a small facility, so there is consistent handling and no overwhelming stimulation felt in many of the bigger facilities. Our dog carried a little anxiety because of some extra vet visits while a puppy, but he happily jumps right out of the car when Jackie or staff come out to fetch him. He has gained confidence through their daycare program and we will definitely use them for boarding too. Highly recommend Nature of the Dog!

My pups and I absolutely love Nature of the Dog! Jackie, Luke and the entire are wonderful, friendly, attentive and clearly care very much for all the dogs. I love the small play groups with attention to most compatible groups. I cannot recommend Nature of the Dog for daycare & boarding.

Top notch staff who love dogs. Drop our dogs off and have no worries what so ever. Kennels are large clean and best of all a large play area allowing dogs to run getting that important exercise in. Good job Nature of the Dog.

We have two Great Danes, who we board at Nature Of The Dog. We have boarded them at other places previously, and NOTD is by far the superior facility and staff. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Our dogs are excited to go to Nature Of The Dog and always come back in good condition and good spirits. They also have an excellent website, including dog friendly stores around Grand Rapids. HIGHLY recommend!

My dog Sadie loves Nature of the Dog for boarding and daycare. And she LOVES Mr Luke & Ms Jackie. Sadie has been going for visits since she was a puppy and she never loses her excitement for getting to see her pals! Thank you to the whole staff for taking care of my baby when we can't ourselves!!! We are so blessed to have you and Sadie says hello! :)
