Nassau Veterinary Clinic

This is by far the most caring and compassionate group of people we have had the pleasure of having with us through all the ups and downs of owning a dog! We've been a constant client for 12 years! The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful, the vet techs are excellent, and the doctors are the best! We would never go anywhere else! We're blessed to have 12 years (and still going) with a very health challenged English bulldog... Everyone at Nassau are part of the reason we still have him today! 💗

My first time here I brought a rescued barn cat. The staff was SO friendly from the moment I walked in, until the minute I checked out. They treated my Felix very well. I can tell they have such a love for animals.

Everyone from the receptionist to the vet techs to the vet were very knowledgeable and professional. They took their time with us (Cooper and I), explaining everything as we went along. We were there for a well check as well as shots and nail clipping(excellent job clipping) and everything went well. Cooper showed no signs of anxious behavior and I was very pleased with the outcome. This was our first visit as we are new to the area and I would highly recommend this clinic for your pet.

I have been bringing my golden retriever to Nassau Vet for the past year now. We have never had a bad experience, in fact, my dog Loves going there! The entire staff is always caring and polite no matter how stressful you know their day may be going. They are excellent about communication and returning calls when needed. We can’t recommend them enough!

Dr Sanford is wonderful and the reason we drive 40 minutes to Nassau Vet is for her excellent care. I want to give a special shout out to tech Shila, who won over our somewhat anti-social cat, Blue in 2 minutes. Blue, on principle, refuses all treats offered but Shila had him purring and literally eating out of her hand. Her compassion and love of animals is apparent! Thank you!
