Myrtle Veterinary Hospital

I had to take some time to calm down and write this. I had a dog who had an emergency. I was coming from 30 min away. I was told they could handle it. Only to be told once I got there it couldn’t be handled till the next day and she could possible need to be seen elsewhere. Charged more than quoted and was basically lead on and charged insanely too much for nothing. Don’t waste your time in an emergency. This was a mess

I brought a trapped feral cat here under the belief that I was accessing S/Nipped’s TNR program. Multiple staff members heard me reference S/Nipped and TNR but never disclosed that Myrtle Point Veterinary Hospital is not affiliated with S/Nipped. I later discovered S/Nipped is a separate nonprofit clinic located behind the building, though signage and MVH’s own website present them as part of MVH’s facility. As a result, I was billed at full private-practice rates for services I believed were part of the nonprofit program. When I raised this concern in writing, MVH did not address the misrepresentation and simply noted I should not return in the future. Consumers should be aware of this distinction before seeking services.

Excellent experience! Super friendly staff and took great care of my pups! So glad to finally have found a good vet for my fur babies! Cats headed in for a visit next 😀

For the most part we have had good experiences with both the Coquille and Myrtle Point Clinic, altho' we do prefer going to the M.P. one for the main reason that we get to stop at A&W for a burger and root beer float if my Lil Miss Riley was a good patient...lol..Very friendly staff and always gentle and good with her. Takes time to answer my questions and go over any treatment or alternative treatments.

They are so amazing, helpful,friendly and kind.. our dog had bladder stones, and required a very expensive surgery. They were so kind and understanding. It's been over a year now and our dog is healthy and happy! And I am grateful we have more time with her.
