Dr Anthony Sakal & assistant John were both so amazing throughout the entire process of my large dog (Great Pyrenees & Newfoundland mix) severely fracturing his hind leg. Not only were they amazing with radiographs, diagnosing, & splinting the leg until able to get my dog into an orthopedic surgical center, they also answered calls when possible & gave professional & caring advice on where we could find the best orthopedic surgeons for this case. After going to our first opinion with a surgeon, Dr Sakal discussed his ideas & wanted us to continue on for another opinion, referring to a DVM peer a few hours away who was able to avoid fusing our dog's joint, & allowed us to maintain our dog's high level function for future running, jumping, & high level activity.
