Do NOT surrender your bird to these people if you care about your bird. They are NOT a rescue and hoard birds, do not take care of them, leave them sickly and disabled when they need help, leave them in dark climates with no lights, dirty place, and all around not the hands you want your bird to fall into. Please look elsewhere and do your research on a legitimate rescue to surrender your bird too.

Sadly this Rescue fosters it's birds to a local family who put the spotlight and responsibility of caring for them on a 9 year old child who wasn't taught how to care for them properly and has a 9 year olds attention span. It was called Evelyn's Hand Tamed Budgies but I dealt with the mother who had to catch them with a blanket while the Budgie Whisper was putting the cages I gave them together. They were 50 birds ranging from Bugdies, Quaker Parrots (Illegal in PA), Cockatiels, Cockatoos, Amazon Parrots, Finches and more all crammed in their small living room. My Budgies cage was up against the Quaker Parrots cage which they said were cage aggressive and would bite fingers. I had a wonderful visit with Pat and three potential adoptees. She is VERY kind and loving towards the birds. I look forward to adopting this week. I'm very excited to adopt after adoring birds for the past three long years. I encourage all to adopt first. All deserve a second chance at a home. I dont know how she manages to do it. It's pretty amazing! I enjoyed talking with her about birds and unrelated things. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to these guys and has a heart as good as gold. Caring for others before yourself...now that's the honorable point. I hope to stay great friends with Pat. If you are not able to adopt but love birds, please consider donating to her resque. This lady is a hoarder and does not operate a legit rescue. Go to the address listed on the Facebook page! It’s unreal and so so sad. She will give you every excuse in the book as to why she is unable let you meet or see the “birds”. The outside is hoarded with trash and old bird cages, lawn decor, furniture, you name it. When I knocked on the door a few dogs came out that were FILTHY with matted fur and looked like they have never been bathed. I still unable to see the birds. She had to leave all of the sudden to go to her sisters or something of that nature. Literally a scene off of the TV series buried alive. We had a wonderful experience there and we look forward to going back and interacting with all the birds again. Looking to adopt soon hoping to find a bird that bonds with us. My wife and I had a great first visit and look forward to coming back again this weekend.
