We had an amazing experience with Gerard as Bailey’s trainer. In just two weeks, Bailey learned so much and came home more confident, focused, and well-mannered. Gerard was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly cares deeply about the dogs he works with. We could really see the progress right away, and it made such a difference for our family. We loved the daily photos and videos he would send of her progress. We’re so grateful for everything he did for Bailey and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dog trainer.

I have been using My Dog Rehab for about 2 1/2 years and would highly recommend them. I have used them for both one on one training and boarding. The training has always made a big difference and the boarding is fantastic, my dog always has a great time there and I know he is well taken care of. They always send lots of photos and videos of all their adventures, whether it is off-leash runs, going to the large local dog park or swimming in the river. My Dog Rehab also has a large on-site, fenced in area for the dogs to run and play. Gerard, who is the owner is very organized and is a great communicator, and I know he cares deeply for every dog he boards!

I can’t say enough good things about My Dog Rehab and Gerard! I sent my dog to the two-week boot camp for reactive behavior, and the transformation has been incredible. My dog was adopted and always sweet with humans but extremely reactive toward other dogs. I couldn’t even take him on a walk without major issues. Thanks to Gerard’s expertise and deep understanding of dog behavior, my pup is now a social dog who goes to the dog park every single day! Gerard is truly a dog whisperer. He doesn’t just train dogs, he understands them and communicates with them in a way that builds confidence and trust. I’m beyond grateful for the work he’s done!

We found Gerard a few years ago when we were totally overwhelmed with our Dalmatian, Elton. He was anxious, reactive, and we honestly didn’t know what to do. From the very first session, Gerard brought this calm, grounded energy that made a huge difference—not just for Elton, but for us too. He never rushed anything. Just slowly, thoughtfully introduced new challenges. Mental stuff, social stuff, real-life situations. And it worked. Elton started gaining confidence, little by little. He’s still got some growing to do, but he’s come so far from the nervous, snappy pup he used to be. Gerard just gets dogs. He listens, he observes, and he adapts to what your dog actually needs. I can’t imagine going through this journey without him. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

My two Aussies were so out of control with so many issues and behavior problems. My Dog Rehab came out asap to help me and taught me so much about my dogs and thus myself as an owner. His training gave my Aussies a life full of fun and adventures they never would have had otherwise. I signed up for the one package that was like a boarding training thing and the dogs learned so much and got the fun benefits of swimming in a river and socialization with the other group member dogs. My Aussies even did that special package not always available where My Dog Rehab took them hiking and sent me photos of how amazing they behaved and how much fun they had. I couldn’t have taken them to the state parks and am so happy they had the opportunity to go and enjoy nature. I highly recommend this trainer
