Murfreesboro Obedience Training Club

We would like to thank the Murfreesboro Obedience Training Club! We have been to several classes and they are all fun but, the trick training class is Awesome! I grew up training as a trainer one type trainer. Meaning aversion, crank and yank, push and pulling, lots of corrections, prongs and I’m ashamed to say shock collars. I really believe that concept training, games and marker training is the way to build great relationships and communication with our companion animals. There is always lots to learn and we really are so grateful to Cathy and Nan for doing such a great job! The Indiana Jones graduation was Spectacular! You can see how much they love and care for animals. More classes like this please!❤️❤️❤️. Congratulations Ginny on earning her novice trick dog title and Congratulation

My son and I had the best experience bringing our dog to the Beginning Manners class. Communication before and during was great, the instructor Missy was really good, and a club member even let us borrow a dog (thanks Cheryl and Chip)when our girl was in season. Highly recommend.

MOTC is a great club right in Mboro that offers a variety of sports and obedience training classes.

I have trained many dogs at MOTC. And love it! It is a great club with friendly and helpful members. The teachers are all volunteers with decades of collective experience in training dogs at all levels. They are dedicated to helping people train their dogs to be the best that they can be.

I have taken CGC - Canine Good Citizen class and now the advanced CGCC - Canine Good Citizen Community class with a wonderful instructor by the name of Cathy Johnson who has been a part of this club for years. Her knowledge in training puppies, clicker training, CGC and Canine dance classes are all valuable and fun positive training methods. I have not had a chance to have any of the other instructors but hope to as I advance my training with my corgis. I would strongly recommend this club who wants a positive experience with dedicated trainers with many years of experience.
