Mulvane Animal Clinic

My friend had a plane to catch when her dog who was at a bording place had an issue and needed to see the vet. Mulvane Animal Clinic is where the dog goes for vet care. I was able to help out and pick the dog up and take her to see the vet. I sure didn't know what to expect, but my neighbor made calls to make things easier. The front desk, the Vet and student Vet were so gentle with the dog, and she stayed pretty calm. They treated ME with kindness too. I of course wasn't much help, but they told me more than once they appreciated me bring the dog in. That was just NICE, you know! My friend said her pets have used this clinic for years. I could see why. I called them today to ask a couple of questions. One @ cost of a vaccination and options on a regular prevention med. The receptionist

If I could give NO stars, I would. I lost my precious fur baby a few years ago and I firmly believe it was because of this veterinary clinic. I took my 9 yr old Havanese in because he injured his leg somehow in our yard and was limping. I assumed it was a sprain or something. Of course the wait was long and then the vet was not very informative. They couldn’t tell me what they thought it could be, took no X-rays, did no bloodwork, but prescribed a pain medicine called carpfrofen. Not being in that field myself, I had no idea what the side effects were or risks and was not informed of them either. 2 days later, in the middle of the night after waking up to our boy crying and extremely limp, we were at another vet for an emergency visit where they did an X-ray and bloodwork and we were told

Grat service. I love the walk in service. The doctors are so professionals and they always respond to my questions and give and amazing service to my dogs. All the staff is friendly and caring.

I am 72 years old and have been taking beloved pets there since I was 18. I used to go with my Dad when a child. I have never had a problem there throughout all those years and pets!! I am so very thankful for them!!! Vets and staff are professional yet down to earth and show genuine concern for your pet!! And on top of all their greatness, you don't have to rob a bank to pay for their service!!! Very reasonable prices....they aren't after your money. We recently had to put down 2 of our senior pets a month apart and we were overwhelmed with the compassion/patience that both Dr. Andrea and Dr. Troy showed us!!!

I don't know why I didn't share sooner, but it's coming up on a year now and I'm feeling morbidly sentimental haha! These nurses & doctors literally saved my cats life; he was just about to turn 2, when his previous symptoms of urinary issues lead to our worst possible outcome as an active blockage. I came in with him wrapped in his blankie in my arms, limp and nearly unresponsive, and I was absolutely hysterical- I could barely speak coherently. luckily our vet had been treating him for his urinary problems already and knew exactly what was happening. They were very quick to speak to me kindly and thoroughly about our options and what exactly was happening, and the things could happen.
