Muddy Paws Dog Boarding and Obedience School

I cannot recommend this place enough!! I would never go anywhere else. The owner is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about dogs, not just how to train them but on how dogs think which is why she's able to successfully train a dog. The facility is nice and big and very clean and climate controlled. The yards where the dogs can play are all huge and fenced in. There's always a supply of fresh water available in the yards and kennels for the dogs. This place is Veteran owned and operated. My dogs get so excited when they see me pull into the property that they start crying with excitement cause they want to hurry up and get out of the vehicle to go play. For me as a dog mom, that speaks volumes about how amazing this place is, that my dogs LOVE going there!

When we adopted our dog, we toured several boarding facilities in the San Antonio area and Muddy Paws is the one we chose. Our dog has the best time and gets so excited to see April everytime we pull up! We go here exclusively for daycare and boarding. The facilities are excellent with fenced in areas as well as outdoor and indoor kennels and we are confident every visit that our dog is well taken care of. 10/10 recommend!!!

Alice came as a recommendation as we just moved here and she was very patient and great with my dog who needs a lot of time to get to know someone. Also the sleeping arrangements for the dogs are great.

We have been boarding our German Shepherd with Muddy Paws since they opened and have been very pleased with the care “Reign” has received. The kennels are very clean with attention to A/C or heating depending on the weather: There are several sizes of kennels to choose from and April (owner) offers training sessions while boarding which is an added bonus! I needed a boarding service I can trust with my beloved Reign, and have found it at Muddy Paws. When I drop him off, I can leave confident he will be safe and happy until I return.

We had such an amazing experience having our dog trained through Aprils board and train program at Muddy Paws! He learned so much in just a few weeks and we got frequent updates on his progress throughout his time away from home. April has lots of good experience, was very personable, and easy to work with to determine what we wanted to get out of our dog’s training. We plan to continue sending our dog to Muddy Paws for daycare/boarding.
