Even though we heard horrible stories about this place, we were desperate and had to use them. I deeply regret that we stepped foot into this place. They lack compassion and only want to see how many diagnostic tests they can charge you. During subzero temperatures and a major snow storm on a Saturday night, our dog who had cancer and was doing well, suddenly took a turn for the worst. We called Horton’s ER first and their vet was tied up in an emergency surgery. Due to the roads getting worse, we decided to go to MU. When we arrived, I explained that we had a dog with cancer getting palliative care and we needed to talk to someone about euthanasia or pain control until we could get into our own vet on Monday. We had our dog who was wrapped in a blanket and was in obvious distress. A vet

I cannot say enough about these hardworking individuals- from the front office to the resident vets, to the entire staff - Thank You and hats off to you all - very impressive!! Our Dusty had the best care and a special shout out to Dr McNair & Dr Cotnoir & team for being so supportive and caring.

Shaved half my cat's head for a simple abscess, condemned a rescue I brought in for FIV. They did handle a late night euthenasia kindly and at a fair price.

If you want your pet to live, go anywhere but here! Brought my dog in with a bleeding tumor and they basically put a bandaid on it and said it stopped bleeding (it hadnt). They also said that their surgery team would get in contact with me within a few days to do a consultation to remove the tumor. My dog passed away waiting for a phone call that never came. Hate this place! I will never forgive them for literally doing nothing when I came in covered in my dogs blood. Please please please go anywhere but here if you love your pets!!!

probably one of the worst places i’ve EVER taken my dog. i’m a college student and my baby (german shepherd) was in an amidst amount of pain an they shrugged her off. told me she was aggressive (most fun loving dog you’d meet an extremely social) so they were trying to force us to let them sedate her. the man at the front desk was extremely rude and wouldn’t let the vets take my dog back for 25 mins then i waited from 12:30-3AM!!! just for them to say they wouldn’t take her back !! please hear me when i say your animals are better fit ANYWHERE but here (for example hortan hospital is extremely compassionate an loving even over heard the vet say “it’s okay luna we’re going to make sure you get back to your family feeling ever better than yesterday”! )
