I cannot recommend Mt Tabor and their incredible team more enthusiastically. The full service care that they gave our beloved dog Lucy for the past 14 years went above and beyond time and time again. During office visits they were so welcoming that our girl never feared a trip to the vet, in fact the team gave her kisses and snacks every time which meant she loved it. They gave us advice over the phone time and time again, procured us meds when we suddenly ran out and overall have been a phone call we never hesitate to make. As she transitioned into a senior dog they were clear with us about our options and always patient and supportive of our decisions. And now even though our dog is gone, we just received the most thoughtful handwritten card and donation in her name from the whole Mt Ta

We have taken our 4 pets to Mt. Tabor Vet for the last 6 years and have not had a bad experience. I prefer a lot of text updates whenever they need to go under anesthesia and the MTVC team always communicates sooo much with us. I totally trust them with all our pets (2 cats, 2 dogs - 1 recently passed)! 🥲

Two months ago I moved to Portland and the first thing I wanted to do was secure a vet for my border collie. I have known Dr Bussmann for several years and knew of her practice. She immediately had her office obtain all previous vet records to ensure Amigo was up to date on everything, sadly there were a few things that had fallen thru the cracks. She gave him a thorough examination and brought him up to date on everything. I am so proud to call Dr Bussmann my vet and Mt Tabor is the only place to go.

I took my cat here two weeks after adopting him for what turned out to be an ear infection. While I’m relieved he was treated and is now more comfortable, my overall experience was disappointing. The vet’s communication was poor and often unprofessional. She made vague comments during the ear exam (“wow”) saying his ear canal was full of debris and immediately brought up serious conditions like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy after hearing a heart murmur—without giving details like the grade or asking about symptoms. She also suggested possible kidney disease or a UTI based only on his normal water intake, which felt careless (also didnt ask exactly how much water he drank). She assumed a lesion which takes imaging to diagnose right off the bat. Medical records took a week to receive. Most

When we first started bringing our puppy to this clinic, we saw Dr. Lisa Williams, who was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, kind, and clearly understood the energy and unpredictability that comes with a young puppy, especially when it comes to vet clinics, and getting vaccines. Our pup loved her, and the vet techs did the best they could to handle him. However, for his neutering procedure, we had to see a different vet at the same clinic, and unfortunately, the experience took a turn. This vet seemed more irritated by our puppy than understanding, which made what should have been a routine visit feel stressful and uncomfortable. Instead of being supported, we left feeling like we were bad pet parents. The final straw came when we were given a sedative combo for him. Under the influ
