MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter

Amazing team at this location. Axle helped us pick out Shortbread who has been nothing but amazing. This is a dog I typically would not go for but I am beyond happy we took the time to talk with the staff and figure out what was best for our needs.

BEWARE. I would go elsewhere if you want a healthy animal! We adopted an 8-month-old kitten and were made aware that she had been treated for a URI but was only sneezing a bit here and there and had been cleared for adoption. When we got home she had terrible diarrhea but due to the fact she had been sick, had just finished antibiotics and this was a new environment for her, I assumed these were the reasons why. After a little over 3 weeks I contacted the SPCA to let them know that not only did she have terrible diarrhea but she was having accidents around the house. They told me after 2 weeks basically it's not their problem anymore and "well, have you brought her to the vet?" DUDE- YOU DON'T ADOPT OUT SICK ANIMALS JUST FOR THE PROFIT. We have made dietary changes, added even more litter

I Adopted a cat who was neutered, vaccinated and had flea and tick prevention treatment as well as got dewormed. But I noticed her rubbing herself a lot when I brought her home. I thought it was normal cat grooming behavior. After a week or two I noticed white live worms near her bum ( tapeworms) and I thought I could simply bring her back to get dewormed and get the flea treatment again but I had to fill a post adoption form that says someone will call me in 48h and no one called back. I took her somewhere else to get treatment because I can’t wait for things to get worse on her. The adoption process was quick and easy, the staff are friendly and kind. Only issue is getting help after adoption. I don’t wanna give a 2stars because honestly people expect help after adoption and at least

Brought my new lil homie home. Northeast MSPCA was packed(whick is great to see) Easy process u can buy everything u need right there for your pet. My kitty is such a lover . I named him Kashmere. I had really good experience there. I'm so happy . Thank you.

She came from another branch at Nevins Farm. Salem was helpful too we just didn’t find our friend there
