Moura Stock Dogs

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Maycon’s ability with a dog is unmatched and Emma’s kindness and hospitality is equally impressive. I have 2 full trained dogs from them and I’m sure there will be more in the future. One dog out works any ranch hand on the planet I couldn’t be happier. If I could tell my past self anything it would be get a good dog from them sooner.

In August 2023 I bought a male dog from Moura because my cousin had bought a puppy from him and was really excited about their way of training and the quality of border collie they were training and also selling. When we contacted them about buying a dog Maycon said he had a fully trained male dog that would work great with sheep but he was not a cattle dog nor would he ever be a cattle dog. And if I was wanting one for sheep that the man would do me a fine job. So I purchased the male dog named POKER. With only a short video and Maycon word. And in my world a man’s word is his bond and I believe Maycon to be a man of his word. We were not going to be able to get Poker for a few weeks and was told that was no problem and they would really like for me to come a go thru the level 1 training

We had a great experience with Moura Stock Dogs as we expanded our family with Moura’s JoJo! She is well-socialized, extremely intelligent and highly trainable. We have such high hopes for this little girl. Maycon and Emma provided all the info we needed to transition her from their family to ours ❤️

On the 2nd and 3rd of April my Wife Michelle, Daughter Bet and Myself were fortunate enough to be able to do a 2 day private clinic with Maycon Moura of "Moura Stock Dogs" and what a couple of days we covered so much and worked so many of Maycons Dogs over the 2 days. I do believe that Maycons methods will help to give Strong Dogs that are very driven the ability to reach their full potential, by better understanding them. I attended the Level 1 Clinic this past weekend and all I have to say is everything about Moura Stock Dogs is beyond excellent! Obviously Maycon is an exceptional breeder and trainer of stock dogs, but that is not where it ends. He has the ability to teach people in a clear and concise way that allows them to understand and work with their dogs. In addition his facility is first rate. Everything is built around how to take the best care and what needs to be in place in order to train the dogs. In addition Maycon and his family are so incredibly generous and hospitable. I cannot recommend Moura Stock Dogs enough. I cannot wait to return and continue my education!
