Mountain View Pet Resort

Our 2-year-old pitbull mix, Rosie, got to spend the weekend with April and her husband at Mountain View Pet Resort this weekend. She LOVES spending time with April and the pet resort is like her second home. She gets so excited when she sees she is going to April's! April is the most kind and caring owner who truly cares about every dog who visits and goes to daycare at the resort. Rosie is treated like a queen and has such a great time playing with the other pups! April keeps the resort so clean you wouldn't even know there were dogs unless you hear them playing and having fun! When Rosie sees April she greets her with a full body wiggle and LOTS of kisses! We have an 11 year old disabled dog. She is still vibrant but needs a wheelchair for mobility and is incontinent😮. April and her staff give our dog FABULOUS care!! They go well beyond the usual kennel services. We truly believe they love our pugnacious, amusing, spinal injured dog! You can feel confident that your pet is having a great day and is in good hands.

I bring two dogs every week for daycare, and I have seen immense growth in both of them. One is an anxious rescue, and ever since he started going to Mountain View Pet Resort, he has completely come out of his shell! He is livelier and much less anxious. He even lets other people pet him now, which he NEVER did before. The other dog is deaf, and she is treated like an absolute princess. You can really tell that everyone who works here loves each pet and takes great care of them. I feel completely at ease taking my pets here, and always look forward to it. I can’t rate this place highly enough!!!

We cannot say enough good things about the folks at Mountain View Pet Resort. We have a very anxious dog, Petiza, and initially boarded her for a short period. Since then, we have enrolled her in their doggie daycare. The experience of being with other dogs has enriched her life. Since she has started going to Mountain View her anxiety has improved immensely, she has been able to come out of her shell, play with toys, and eat bones (both of which she never used to do). Since she was so anxious to begin with, leaving her anywhere was extremely stressful. The experience of watching her shake in fear when we first dropped her off was heartbreaking. We’re actually on our way to pick up Kitt and Grace, our two standard poodles, right now. We looked at five or six boarding places, and Mountain View is the only one where the dogs’ tails went up when we visited to check them out the first time. The place is fantastic, and we always feel good leaving Kitt and Grace there when we travel. When we pull into the driveway and they recognize where we are, they start “singing their song” because they’re excited and anxious to get inside. If I could leave six or more stars, I would.
