Mountain Valley Kennel

Katie took amazing care of our little rescue dog! He is currently on a variety of medications and she ensured that he took every dose and followed the instructions to the letter! When we picked up our pup he seemed more obedient than before and was substantially happier and more confident than when we dropped him off. The limited slots Katie has to board pets means that every pupper gets the special attention and care that they deserve. I couldn't be happier with our experience and I will definitely be going to Katie anytime our pupper need a good place to stay for awhile!

I've known the owner of Mountain Valley Kennel for years, she's amazing with all kinds of animals from bunnies to horses, but most especially dogs. She has her own dogs that she's trained and who are very well behaved. We recently left our very nervous and anxious hound, Copper, at the Kennel for over a week. When we came back his anxiety was much improved, Katie had worked with him (with our permission) to help him overcome some of his fears. We could tell he had been very happy and very well taken care. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be using Mountain Valley Kennel again in the future. He was all tuckered out when we picked him out.

Katie was fantastic with our dog, sending us daily pictures and updates on how she was doing. The facilities were very clean and the outdoor play area was huge with secure fencing. I will definitely be taking our dog to her anytime we are going out of town.

My husband is a farmer, and since I work as well, I was looking for a doggie daycare that is close to where I live for my dog to spend a day or two a week during hay making. I took to Google and I am so happy that I found Mountain Valley Kennel. This kennel is top notch. The owner, Katherine, takes the best care of my fur baby. She is very knowledgeable and professional and my dog loves to go there. The facility is bright and nicely decorated not to mention extremely clean. The outdoor areas for play are amazing. The whole setup is just well designed and maintained. As soon as I turn in the driveway my dog knows where he is and starts getting excited. When I leave I am not sure he even notices that I am gone.
