Mountain Made K9

Working with Mountain Made K9 has been a great experience. We enrolled Bomber in the 4wk board and train. He needed lots of help learning to regulate, and we needed tools and a foundation of communication with him. Alisha was great to work with. She was very patient and reassuring and provided a great foundation for us to work from.

My goldendoodle Jefferson and I went through Mountain Made K9’s 5 week virtual training program, and it was absolutely fantastic! The curriculum is wonderful, and the training sessions were tailored to where Jefferson and I were at in our training journey. Jefferson is now officially a service dog in training, and I am very excited to continue our journey with Mountain Made K9 in their Elevated K9 Program.

Alisha was absolutely amazing. She cares about her clients and is so patient with all the questions we asked her and really understood what we wanted out of the training. We did a 5 week board and train and it was so worth the money. Our pup has never behaved better. He can from a Reservation and was adopted by us last year. We put him in training in Oct 2022 and he is not the same dog as before. He’s a better behaved dog. I’m so satisfied with his training and she still reaches out to check on how our pup is doing and it’s been almost 6 months later. I definitely recommend her! We sent our corgi to her four week training and it has made such a big difference! Our corgi is learning how to manage her load and gotten so much better about resource guarding. Alisha did a complimentary follow up in our home a few weeks later, which was so helpful! Alisha is kind and honest, and very respectful and loving with our pup(s). We have enjoyed working with her and have found it so helpful. We are now doing weekly private sessions to help with our other dog (a husky mix) and we are making so much progress. I definitely reccomend her to anyone looking for help with dog training, we have had a wonderful experience.

My story starts with Alisha contacting me about getting one of my German shepherd puppy’s for a service protection dog, she told us what she needed him for and we found her a puppy who is now named Timber. Alisha flew in to get timber and take him home, it was amazing to see the love between the 2 of them from minute one. Alisha started training the day after she landed in her state! To see the work and dedication she put into working timber is unbelievable and amazing! She makes it fun for them and makes them want to work! Alisha has the patience of a saint! She takes your baby in and treats it as her own! I am excited because we are sending her our pup to train to be a service protection dog because we have seen what she has done with not only Timber, but with dogs she has gotten out of
