Mo's Dog Training

We adopted a one and a half year old rescue dog named Scout in mid-December. We decided that this energetic, loving little terrier mix needed more training than we were capable of providing. So, we got in touch with Karen and lined up private lessons. Karen did a wonderful job helping Scout to learn proper pup behavior. She has patience and the understanding of why dogs behave the way they do. She stresses positive reinforcement in all of the lessons that are gone through. Scout came a long way in the 5 sessions that he progressed through. He's not perfect, but what dog is?. So, Karen, thank you so much from all of us(Ann, Bob, Scout).

Mo spends a great deal of time training dogs with positive reinforcement. Her patience and passion working with dogs is clearly evident. I trust her completely with my two dogs, Delilah & Cabot.

Karen was simply wonderful. I traveled an hour to attend private lessons with her. She taught me so much, and it's obvious that she truly cares for dogs. She only teaches positive reinforcement, which was important for me. I have a 2 year old wheaten terrier, so her classes are not just for puppies. Her facilities are great. We spent most classes outside in her fenced backyard, but when it rained, we were able to go inside because she also has a large training area in her basement. Need help with your furbaby? I came to Karen for help with perfecting basic obedience, as well as just- for-fun agility for my border collie. Let me just say, she NAILED IT! Karen is an amazing trainer who uses positive methods and the progress that my dog and I have made while learning to effectively communicate with each other is astounding! I am forever grateful for everything she taught us, and I will highly recommend her to anyone!

We are so glad we decided to work with Karen. Our 7 month old pup loved going to our individual lessons. Karen helped us learn commands, leash walking, and worked on socializing our dog. She always made sure we were comfortable with the skills from class and working through any challenging behaviors. We learned so much from Karen and are forever grateful to her for giving us the skills and confidence to be successful dog parents!
