Two young puppies got dumped near my house this week and the Morgan County Animal Shelter team has been amazing to work with, making sure the puppies are healthy and safe while they wait for their forever homes. The organization could certainly use more resources and community support, but the core team they have clearly works so hard to make sure every dog that comes through their doors is well cared for and loved. The facility is very clean and they take personal interest in helping each individual dog as much as possible. Would highly recommend this shelter, they truly care.
This shelter is a wonderful place to adopt a dog. Cathy and Josh work hard to keep the shelter clean and treat each dog with respect, kindness and love. Many of the dogs are abandoned and are just looking for love, treats and hugs. If you’re looking to adopt a lovable pup please check them out. Or feel free to just stop in with a box of biscuits! 🍖🍖🍖
