Moore Animal Shelter and Adoption Center

Soo back in May I adopted my very first rescue. Now I originally was looking at a female pup but upon visiting with that pup I stumbled upon a perfect little gentleman named Ruger. It had been years since I had a dog so I had so many questions and the staff didnt mind answering them. They also allowed me plenty of time with the pups so that I could make an informed decision. What I like most of all is how honest the staff was about each dog. Ruger was returned a few times so the staff made it clear he would need training but overall is a good dog and no lies were told. Ruger has definitely been a challenge but a great one. I immediately put him in training and saw a different dog. He's more confident and more social with other dogs. The Moore Animal Shelter is so clean and well maintained! Our family volunteers there and we have never seen anything alarming with the animals or staff. Everyone is kind and helpful, if we have questions. No complaints!

The staff were very friendly and personable when we were talking to them about what kind of dog would best match our home. After talking to them one of the staff showed us Dopey! He was the perfect fit and has been settling in very well at home. They were super kind throughout the whole process and helped us find our best friend

I have been a long time resident of Moore. I had a life changing situation happen. I was losing my home of 11 years. I had 3 inside kitties that I had rescued from a cat colony that I use to feed. With my situation I am unable to take my inside kitties with me.. I reached out to every rescue in the surrounding areas. With no luck.. It was coming down to just a couple days before I had to be out of my home. I still had no where for my inside kitties to go. I was starting to panic. Did not know where I was going to turn to. I was falling into all the bad reviews residents of Moore were posting in reference to their lack of compassion for animals by the staff at the shelter. Ive never dealt with a uncaring staff member with any interactions I've had in the past. So I gave it a shot.

Moore Animal Shelter was AMAZING & SO friendly when I surrendered my sister in laws cat. They were so patient & understanding. The facility is TOP NOTCH in clean condition!! All 3 women I spoke with here were truly amazing women & cared so much for Loki (the cat). Thank you so much Moore Animal Shelter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
