I adopted a domestic shorthair cat here a few months ago. She’s doing great so far, I also got a rag doll friend for her and they’ve been getting along well. The reason I’m taking off one star is because previously we also applied for a husky and another cat. However, we did not get a response about whether the application was approved or not. The only reason I was able to adopt my cat is because they said she didn’t need to be applied for.

Originally was going to adopt a purebred puppy, however we ended up Adopting an older dog, she is absolutely beautiful and love her so much... The SPCA was very helpful and I will definitely adopt my next pet from them again

I adopted a dog at the beginning of the pandemic when things were pretty chaotic. The SPCA handled the transition about as well as anybody did during that time and we were able to schedule a visit to meet 2 potential dogs. Everything went smoothly and we took our new dog home that day (sadly, he just passed away after 4 wonderful years with us, as he was older when we adopted him). Edit: a few days ago I returned and had another wonderful experience with adopting again. I put in an application online and was called about a week later (I believe this is because the dog was on a stray hold, so I was called as soon as the hold expired). We had to wait to be able to take him home because he had to be neutered, but we were able to visit the dog a couple of times in between the time we adopted

i moved to a new place and our cats where indoor outdoor cats when went back for our cats we couldnt find them only to discover they got back into the place through a broken window and we didnt know they were inside we came everyday calling there names for five days. We got a call on the sixth day from the spca asking about our cats we was so happy and excited that they had them and would be happy to pick them up and pay for the days of stay like they spoke about over the phone the total was $240 that i easily said yes to because they meant more then any amount of money i had them both since birth it was a mother and son.The son was born on my couch!! she started making up things that i abandoned them and that i just had to be lying and that how Could They Climb the roof? What ms there c
