Monfort Heights Animal Clinic

I have worked in the vet field for 30+ years & I have never been MORE DISAPPOINTED & UPSET with a front desk staff ever!!! I have been lied to re: leaving me messages about my pets' important lab works & I NEVER received a call back in over a week re: 1 of my cats vomiting roundworms - which is HIGHLY contagious!!!! They told me that they don't have enough vets to be able to get my pet in before 2-3 weeks - 3 different times. They should not be accepting new clients if they can't even see the animals they already have that are sick...PERIOD. It's clearly about getting as much money as possible & not as much about the actual care or concern of the pet. ** I did like Dr. Cavanaugh, who is a relief vet - not one of their 2 regular vets!!!

Do not trust the older McBride. He signed off on a ‘suture’ ACL surgery for my 10 year old Australian Shepherd when he should have had a different surgery for bigger dogs that he could not perform himself. Communication about how this could impact him later in life was completely negligent in my eyes. His life will likely be cut short by a year or more because his back leg does not function well.

Just was there. The back of my appointment with vet and crew was wonderful. The front brushes u off as fast as they can as u pay for your visit. Then when u tell them that u have questions they answer them REALLY fast and then laugh at u as u are walking out. Would love to use this place because it's close to me. But don't like being treated at the front desk.

When looking for a new vet for my puppy, I made an appointment with Monfort Heights Animal Clinic and I never looked back! They take such good care of my dog and now my cat as well. They are always busy but still find time to make us feel comfortable when we call/come in. I’m so thankful to have a trusted vet to come to.

We have been going to Monfort Heights Animal Clinic since they opened in 1974! We have had many pets through the years and they have always had the best care and attention any animal could possibly receive! They are the best! My Gina (pictured) was recently there and she is well on the road to recovery! Thanks Doc!
