I was referred to mitten animal clinic for some testing my in-home vet couldn't do, and switched them to my primary vet soon after. Dr. Sherer was kind and compassionate, she goes above and beyond for her patients. She gave me options, estimates for everything, opinions of what she would do, responds to emails during off hours with questions, reached out to contacts for their opinions and multiple times fit me in for last minute day of visits. She even went as far as to reach out to colleagues to help get answers while she was on vacation at Disney with her family. She was there when I had to say goodbye to my boy Blitz and did everything she could to help me save him. Her entire staff is incredibly kind and caring from first visit to last and all wrote me a nice note in a card when I pick

My god I cannot recommend them enough. They've been so kind, understanding my entire time going there. They helped me make the best informed decisions for my senior dog and the prices are incredibly fair. If you want staff that all around is welcoming and will listen without feeling like they're pushing products from sponsors look no further. My baby is always in good hands with this team!

The Mitten Animal Clinic is amazing! We honestly couldn’t ask for better care for our dog, Amber. She’s had so many complicated health issues—skin problems, autoimmune stuff, blood pressure, and more—but the team here has been with us every step of the way. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years, and they always greet Amber by name as soon as we walk in. Today was especially tough—she had a collapsing episode, and the staff stayed late just to make sure she was okay and that we felt supported. Dr. Sherer is truly one of a kind—so kind, caring, and really dedicated to her patients. We’re so thankful for this clinic and everything they’ve done for us and Amber. Also, Lily at the front desk, who answers calls, and does stuff in the back with the animals is so sweet and cares so much -

After a pyometra diagnosis at an Animal ER, we didn’t know how we’d afford surgery. Mitten Animal Clinic accepted the referral and saved our dog’s life. Dr Sherer and Dr. Magolan were compassionate and incredible. We’re so grateful — highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Mitten. My puppy had a serious medical scare that landed him in the ER twice. When we found out that he might need surgery, we knew we couldn’t afford the cost at the emergency vet. Mitten squeezed us in to have him seen, and handled his case with professionalism and care. We are cautiously optimistic that his symptoms will resolve without surgical intervention, but we know that they will be here if he needs it
