Misfit Mountain

We fostered and then adopted our two puppies from Misfit Mountain, and we couldn’t be happier!! They take great care in handling all the animals, and have a whole variety including pigs and Guinea pigs! They also take care of things like picking the puppies up for spay/neuter appts while fostering, and giving you supplies while fostering so it’s not a hugely expensive undertaking. We were so thrilled with our fosters that we ended up adopting!

I've never been but I'm playing treat and one of the dogs I have is from here, it brings awareness to the dogs and helps get them adopted

I've never personally been there but I play a game on my phone that creates awareness of each dog there. You can earn treats for them and it warms my heart to see a place like this thrive and love for animals that need it so much. Dogs are so loving and selfless. They only want one thing, and that's companionship. It breaks my heart to see stray dogs or dogs neglected/abused. It's unimaginable the heartbreak here animals go through when they've been abandoned in a world they don't understand. So, misfit mountain and the other shelters like it really give me hope that there is a brighter future for these amazing animals.

This rescue is beyond amazing. They helped us in fostering/adopting our pupper shadow! They really have a sense of compassion for animals and take great care of them. I'd highly suggest adopting through them. And even fostering through them!!!!

I play the Treat app game where one plays to give treats and food to dogs in need, and previously had Cricket as my Treat dog and now have Gabi! This not-for-profit organization does an amazing job for those who cannot speak for themselves. They take in dogs, cats, even chickens and pigs! 🐖 🐔 🐈 🐕
