Miranda's Rescue

We met under some pretty unfortunate circumstances. We were rehoming our dog. Shannon met us with such grace and understanding. You can tell he is a real dog lover - he even has paw prints on his wedding band! He promised us he would get our dog adopted, and to be honest we didn't believe him, but then 4 days later, he called us, and we all cried on the phone together in happiness. Highly recommend Miranda's Rescue!

Shannon and all the staff at Miranda’s rescue are such an integral part of our community. They went out of their way to help me with feral kittens that I found and got them the treatment they needed. Shannon’s compassion for animals and generosity in this community is unmatched. Thanks a million for all that you do!

I got a dog from Miranda's Rescue in June of 2021. He is amazing and I love him dearly. He really is a great dog. There was some conflicting information about his age and that seemed unnecessary. They also made every interaction after taking him home as difficult as possible. They refused to answer questions about how long he was there, or anything about his past. I don't regret getting him, but I don't have the best feelings about this place. I really wish I could say something different.

Miranda's rescue is such a great place. Shannon truly cares about the animals and is very knowledgeable not only about care but laws logistics and everything else regarding the process as well. He helped my family in a very tight pinch and alleviated a lot of stress. Whether adopting or surrendering, this is an exceptional rescue.

I had the most wonderful adoption experience here. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I found my perfect match of a cat. You can tell the animals are well cared for. They are in great environments that are huge and maintained. I would 100% recommend anyone to come here if you are looking for a pet.
