I adopted a very young cat from here. I had to get it sterilized within 2 weeks. Week 1 it did not weigh enough for anesthesia. Week 2 it did not weigh enough for anesthesia. Long story short I got slapped with a class B misdemeanor for "failure to uphold a contract" for not getting the under weight cat sterilized.

They really love and care for the animals. The cages are always clean and so are the pets

The lady's here are nice and friendly. My only complaint is they don't check the animals for food aggression before re homing them so that way it can help ppl pick a animal thats best suited to them and there household.

I bought this sweet boy from there. He has been by my side ever since. This shelter is amazing and helped me find my best friend.

The shelter coordinator told me over the phone that if I brought a cat in they'd kill it even if it's perfectly healthy. I asked to be called if he were to be on a kill list so he could go to a different shelter or foster and she laughed at me and said extremely condescending "um no we can't do that if he gets put down we're not calling its too much work he's our property if you bring him in" if you care about animals don't bring them here to be neglected or murdered. Kim was the rudest and most heartless shelter employee I've spoke to anywhere. Take your animals to Weatherford animal shelter if you care about them.
