Midwest Wheaten Rescue is an amazing animal rescue in Omaha that has not only saves dogs in need, but they have made such an impact on our lives. The owners/founders are kind, thoughtful, helpful, and engaged as they lead a team of volunteers in finding furever homes for as many dogs as they can. We found them because my husband has allergies and the Wheaten breed is hypoallergenic. We always favor rescuing dogs in need of a home, and MWR has enriched our lives with three such creatures over the past decade. What I appreciate the most about this rescue is that they make sure that each dog is placed in the absolute best situation for their individual needs. We love this organization and we are blessed for all that they provide dogs looking for their forever home. Three years ago we found our Lucy with Midwest Wheaton. She is the best addition to our family. She is the most amazing dog to make our family complete. Midwest Wheaton was the best to work with from coming to our home and finding the best fit for Lucy. Finding the perfect home for dogs is their mission and they have great staff working with them to provide this including Lucy's foster mom. Thanks for making Lucy a part of our family.
