Today is January 24th 2026 I just got off the phone with a young lady who I was contacting to see if they had followed up with a report on a dog that was being neglected.. the animal control officer I spoke to yesterday said he was going back out today and if the dog was still tethered without the proper shelter which should include insulation they were unfortunately going to have to take the dog because of the freezing temps. Unfortunately, he is not in today after all and the young lady I spoke to said that there was only one animal control officer there and that he was only going out on emergency calls. The supervisor (lady at the front desk) is a joke, wouldn’t let me have my own cat carrier back because my boyfriend didn’t have an Id with him. the only carrier I have for my own pets. Have never had this problem before at any other shelter. Honestly petty. Only had experience with one good worker, Trent. Very polite, understanding & respectful.

They are the best!! Thank you Theresa and the staff for helping me get my baby girl back! I am forever grateful she is home. She was missing 4 days and they were agonizing, I am so grateful how they loved on her! Bless you all!!! You deserve raises!!!!!!!!

Be careful. They might sell you and your Small Children a dieing kitten and just callously blow you off for merely try to ask a few basic questions. 1 person was truely kind and helpful. Up till now our experience with her prevented me from saying anything.

The people at the animal shelter were so kind and welcoming to my students. Very willing to bring kids in and educate them on animal safety and how shelters operate. They also have helped me with my own pet who got out of my fence. They called me within the hour of her being lost and had her ready for me in the morning. I highly recommend people go to this shelter to find their new family pet!
