We have been bringing our dog & cat to Middlebury Animal Hospital for years and would highly recommend to everyone. Dr. Loeven, the previous owner was amazing to us, and he is of course missed, along with his relief veterinarian, Dr. Shanley, who was also wonderful. Recently, Dr. Grace Woodrell has taken ownership of the hospital and she has been incredible. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and takes the time to answer my *many* questions. Every single one of the vet techs are truly amazing and our animals are always so happy to see them. Our dog actually looks forward to his vet visits! Marianne & Mary at the front desk are also very kind & welcoming. They return calls & emails promptly and always get us a same day appointment when our pets are having issues. As an anxious pet

Middlebury Animal Hospital has a wonderful caring and professional vet practice. My dog doesn’t even put on his brakes when entering the front door to this clinic. The staff is welcoming and friendly and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the veterinarians are. Dr Loeven is a wonderful surgeon and gives the best educated care. Even chatting with fellow animal owners in the waiting room is rewarding. I’m so grateful I found this veterinarian who is surprisingly easy to get to just off I-84 and past Rte 9.

Our Harley just had her teeth cleaned and some pulled . We have been going to them for over 30 yrs everyone that works there are awesome caring people. They take care of your furbabys like their own.

The staff is one of a kind, exceptional and personable which is hard to find these days. Great response time, answers every question with advice, very rarely do I need to bring my fur baby in for a checkup if a situation occurs. Diamond loves her Dr. Loeven!
