Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society

On February 11th I found a stray dog near 96 and Evergreen. She was cold and hungry. I called as many shelters as I could and Michigan anti animal cruelty was able to get her in the next morning. She is a wonderful little doggie. Big shout out to the whole staff there and Casey who helped set up the meeting. (The picture of her wearing the harness was at Pet Supplies Plus in Royal Oak where they have self serve wash stations, also they have an amazing staff there as well).

I called on a Saturday with a very specific request; I was looking for an older female spayed dog, that no-one else wanted, to adopt. I spoke with Mary, who answered yes, we have one! I went in the following Tuesday and met my Pinky. She's adorable! Absolutely loves her new house, really enjoys exploring her new yard and gobbles up her meaty breakfasts and dinners. Stephanie lead the introductions and many of the shelter staff came out to say goodbye to Pinky, who also enjoyed her rude home in her new car! Thank you guys, I love her so much!

Did not go in person. Make a phone call asking questions about adoption. The person I spoke with was very helpful. All animals there have been fixed and received there shots before the adoption takes place. They appreciate any donations and supplies and might be open to people volunteering. They have a great website. Take a look to see who is a available for adoption and gave them a new and loving home . All animals would love a loving family an be told they are loved. Open your heart . I have 5 kitties and 3 of them are rescues. ❤ 🐈‍⬛🐈🐕‍🦮🐕‍🦺❤

I applied to a few shelters around my area for their foster programs but never heard back from anyone. After a volunteer work event with this shelter, I met the most beloved pitbull puppy and fell instantly in love. I talked to one of the managers of the location after the event and told them I’d be interested in fostering the puppy and she immediately gave me her phone number and told me to apply online and message her when I was done. I did that and let her know, and the next day she scheduled a meet and greet with my dog and the puppy. Everything went great and now I am taking care of an absolutely amazing pup. The staff made the fostering process so easy and simple and they got back to me so very fast. Although this location is 30+ minutes from my home, it was definitely worth the driv

I brought them three wonderful amazing kitties on Wednesday it was a trying time because our family brought them in from outside and loved them tremendously but due to the kid’s allergies we had to let them go🥹 after months of looking and being turned down I was even more sad that no one could take them. Then I called here and they were so amazing to me, I wasin tears numerous times and they were so kind to me and the kitties. At surrender they helped with crates asked all the right questions and made me feel so much better. All three kitties are up for adoption in less than a week and that makes my heart smile♥️.
