Andrea is honestly the best! She goes so far above and beyond what her job requires, and as a breeder, having someone like her in my life gives me so much peace of mind. I know that if Andrea is handling something, everything will go smoothly. She’s truly the backbone of the office. She’s always doing a million things at once, yet somehow manages to do everything flawlessly. On top of that, she adopted a kitty I offered her and is the best cat mom ever. She’s so friendly, sweet, easy to talk to and just one of those people you immediately feel comfortable with. This clinic has helped me so much in my journey as a breeder, and I’m grateful I found them. I cannot say enough good things about this animal clinic! I’ve been bringing my baby dachshund, Minnie, here since her very first check-up, and every single visit has been wonderful. Most recently, I brought her in for her last round of puppy shots, including the rabies vaccine. As we know, vaccines can sometimes cause side effects, and about six hours later Minnie had an allergic reaction after the clinic had already closed. I was so worried, but the amazing receptionist Raul and Dr. Aleman went completely above and beyond for us. They told me to bring Minnie in right away, even after hours, to make sure she was taken care of. Their kindness, compassion, and dedication truly touched my heart. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine care go far beyond what you would expect. They sacrifice their time, stay late, work extra hours, and go above and beyond for the animals they treat. I’ve been bringing my dog, Teddy Bear, to Miami Shores Animal Clinic since he was a puppy, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Today was especially scary—he had a bad stomach issue with bloody diarrhea, and I was honestly freaking out. I rushed him over, and just like always, they were quick, kind, and ready to help with an emergency walk-in. The staff immediately took care of him, gave him IV fluids, and stabilized the situation. They sent us home with the right medications and clear instructions, so I know exactly how to continue caring for him. Most importantly, I left with peace of mind knowing my puppy is going to be okay. Was it cheap? No—but what vet bill is? If you have a pet, that’s just part of the responsibility. I loved the vets when we are in person, they handle everything with a lot love and care and you can tell they care about treating their guests and animals well, but anything related to expecting call backs or follow ups are disappointing. I was supposed to get a call back a week with results and I personally had to call after 3 weeks of waiting around… then I had to call and they said they would call back, never got a call back, then had to call again to wait 20 min for me to speak to someone just to go over results feeling rushed like you are inconveniencing them for them to hang up coldy. I’m a bit sad because I love bringing my pup here but the follow up/ back end process has to be a bit better.
