Miami County Animal Shelter

We just adopted Molly New Years and have adopted 3 other dogs there over the years. A fantastic experience and the staff are kind and helpful and truly care. We are so blessed to have the shelter. Rescue! She fits in perfectly and we adore her! Thank you!

We adopted our kitten- Gouda at the end of May and we love him so much. We decided to come back today and adopt another kitten -Autumn as well. The shelter was easy to find, the adoption process was simple and we have the sweetest companions. Thank you to the miami county animal shelter and your staff for everything you do!

All of my boys came from this shelter. One from 2020 and two from 2025. The staff are very sweet and helpful. Oliver has made a turn around with supplements and prayer and now runs like a young dog his tumor is also shrinking with supplements. CHEETO [ PEPPERONI ] is doing great and growing big he loves to play fetch. DOC is the American bulldog I adopted back in 2020 and hes 6 now and doing great . Thank you for blessing me with three good boys .

They had her listed as Rive but at the suggestion of one of the workers we changed it to “Pearl” she’s adjusting quite well. Everybody here has been amazing. They try there best with what they have and truly have the animals best interest at heart! Don’t Belive the negative reviews. They have been upbeat and as knowledgeable as possible on each of the animals! Can’t praise them enough

I just adopted a Fisher now named Rocky from the Miami county animal shelter today. He is absolutely amazing and is already loving the rest of our farm animals! The staff at the shelter were extremely friendly and helpful! I have adopted two cats from there before and this was my first dog! They are extremely reasonably priced for pets and it includes shots, tags, and micro chipping! My next pet will definitely come from this shelter!
