We had an outstanding experience at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates. From the moment we walked in, the team was calm, efficient, and incredibly kind. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled with professionalism and reassurance. Dr. Slade was excellent! Clear, compassionate, and confident in explaining everything. Our dog was treated quickly, and we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The entire staff worked seamlessly together, and we felt completely taken care of. It’s never fun needing an emergency vet, but if you do, this is the place you want to go. Grateful for such a wonderful team.

All staff from front desk to veterinarian were very friendly, clear and transparent in their communication, and super helpful! Sharon at the front desk was so kind! She has such a wonderful energy about her. The doctor was also wonderful to work with. We did not feel rushed. She was so clear and thoughtful in her communication and her recommendations. We felt very confident in the outcome and approach. We love the hours and felt prices were fair, despite being off hours/holiday. We would definitely use them again.

I was extremely pleased with the care provided to both of my cats, Atticus and Pete. Dr. Gaunt was thorough in his examinations, taking the time to assess each concern I brought up. He was knowledgeable and had an excellent bedside manner, explaining his findings in easy-to-understand terms and patiently answering all of my questions. The radiographs and physical exams were comprehensive, and I left feeling confident that my cats are healthy and well-cared for. The discharge instructions and prescriptions for future travel were also very helpful. His calm, reassuring demeanor put both me and my cats at ease. I’d also like to recognize Sharon at the front desk. She was welcoming, kind, and compassionate. Overall, a great experience.

I've had pets and animals for over 20 years, and this is genuinely one of the best places I have ever been to in an emergency situation. I've never met a more calming, loving and genuine staff in all of my experiences with animal emergencies. The moment you walk in the door, the receptionist makes you feel so welcome and loved and cared for. First impressions matter, and between that and the knowledgable staff and vet, I walked away feeling so at ease. No matter what the result could be with your pet, just know that these people care, and you will feel that immediately upon walking in and then talking to the vet.

The care team was amazing! Took time to explain what the issue was, treatment options, and following treatment - offered detailed post op care advice. All the staff! Dr. Chase, front desk associates (Robyn and another woman who's name I failed to get), and her nurses who were so attentive and just overall wonderful - everyone was amazing, kind, caring, and considerate. The attention to my concern for post op care to ensure a speedy recovery was enormously appreciated.
