A few months back, and close to a medical crisis, we found Dr. Kappes and her team at Meredith Animal Hospital. Our American Bulldog, Mila, had been under the care of a beloved holistic vet who had recently and understandably closed her practice. I was surprised and so relieved when I called and they could see Mila the same day. Dr. Kappes listened to everything I had to say, and agreed to support the care that had been making such a difference for Mila. Since that day, we’ve been back to Meredith Animal Hospital with our 14-year-old kitty and most recently our one and a half year-old old English bulldog. This is hands down the best vet around. Very caring and loving to my fur baby. They truly care about your family. My baby was spade today. I absolutely love how close this is to my home. I love how they discount cash payers. Very helpful, knowledgeable American owned company. Highly recommend.

I recommend this veterinary hospital. They helped us during a life threatening emergency with our senior dog. Dr Kappes and her team were so helpful and knowledgeable to what was needed for our beloved dog. Not only did she know what to do, but she had the equipment to identify the problem. When we picked up our sweet dog I saw her give kisses to Dr Kappes! Never has she done this with other Drs! Wow! She really trusted and liked this veterinarian ❤️. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. By far the best experience I've had at a vet. My 14 year old cat had an unexpected stroke and we could not find a vet willing to accept new patients with less than 3 weeks wait, even with them knowing the circumstances. Meredith vet saw us the same day and I'm happy to report that my cat has improved immensely since being in their care. I was hesitant at first due to some poor reviews we had heard/seen but after recognizing they were under new ownership, we decided to try them out and it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. I was even impressed at their pricing and thought it was more than reasonable. Incredibly grateful for their care and ability to help explain our cat's condition so that we understood our options with her care.

I recently transferred my two Corgis to this practice and couldn't be happier! I sent an email inquiry and received a call within 15 minutes from Dr Amanda's husband. After chatting for 15-20 minutes I decided it was the place for my girls ;) When choosing I asked some questions that were important to me such as: Were they privately owned and planning to stay private? Yes! Did they leave room in schedule for last minute appointments? Yes!! I booked two appointments for my girls. The entire staff was fabulous and kind. Dr Amanda took her time learning about each one and was so knowledgeable, patient & kind with them. Let's keep it local and support this new business that truly cares about our fur babies!!
