Casey made our adoption process super easy and very professional. The shelter was able to provide some food, treats, leash and harness. They also gave us 3 mo supply of Nexguard Plus. She even met with us during closed hours because of work schedules. Thank you McIntosh County and thank you Casey!

Just want to let it be known that while out on my route today 2/24/26 on Young's Island, coming back out I saw a dog that wasn't there before. Wondering where it could have came from and as I come around the curve, the animal control van is leaving out. They literally just dropped the dog off in the middle of nowhere and left it. Shame

Wonderful staff. Nice facility. You can tell these animals are very loved. Always needing volunteers to come interact with the dogs and cats. They do not accept walk in. So to adopt or volunteer you must call to set up a time and day.

Casey and Sarah made the adoption process very smooth. Casey has years of experience and knowledge. She's eager to share everything so the animals adopted get an excellent life. I can't speak highly enough of them! Definitely recommend!!
