McCracken County Humane Society

The people that run this shelter are the absolute best to their pets! There's not enough great things to say about them! They care so much about their pets and that their pets get in the right home for them. This shelter is states away from me, but I would definitely adopt from them again given the opportunity!

Me and my boyfriend adopted this super sweet boy from them! All their animals are very well taken care of and the staff are very professional and friendly. Thank you guys so much for our boy! We love him so much. 🥰

McCracken County Humane Society is a gift to McCracken County! They are the only shelter for the residents of McCracken County and on top of that they also house animals for McCracken County Animal Control. I have adopted all 5 of my cats and my dog from MCHS! All their animals are on flea/tick prevention, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and deworming. All of this is included in their adoption fee which is much cheaper than if you took an animal to the vet on your own. Along with being active at community events and hosting reading night with the public library, MCHS also offers a low cost TNR program for feral cat colonies in McCracken County. New leadership and a passionate staff have turned MCHS into a gift for McCracken County! I will always recommend them for your next

They had a immunization day on a Saturday and everybody was very nice. The line was long, but it went very fast. I can’t thank them enough. They saved me a lot of money.
