Robin takes care of all her puppies with tender loving care! Many years ago I purchased a Shih Tzu from her and 2 years ago we purchased Pup a beautiful little boy Shih Tzu. He is beautiful, and healthy. I’m looking for another Shih Tzu but only from Mayne Haven. I was totally pissed when I saw on line was this a puppy mill!! No believe me it is not!!!!

I never got a puppy here, but research on a puppy pedigree that I may adopt shows this is where its mother is from. Vizsla Breed, with Cross referencing OFA certificates and the Vizsla Database I found potential evidence of inbreeding and a genetic heart defect. Papa Blue comes from a great well cared for line, but he is being irresponsibly bred here. Do not buy Vizlas here if you are not prepared for a higher chance of heart defects.

Purchase with caution. Ms. Mayne is deceptive in her business practices. We purchased a 1 year old Vizsla from the Hopes Yellow litter that was given a clean bill of health and assured to be a healthy dog. When going to neuter the dog I was unable to because a heart murmur was detected and we were told to take the dog to Cornell where he was confirmed to have a congenital birth defect grade 5 heart murmur, a condition he was born with. If purchasing from Mayne Haven do complete due diligence so that you may avoid all the stress and anxiety we have gone through. Clearly Robin is in the business just to sell dogs and will claim innocence when confronted.

I purchase a Shih Tzu from Robin at Mayne Haven kennel. His name is Sky. Robin gave him all his shots. You can get a healthy, well adjusted puppy. She is great with the care of her animals. This is my third purchase from Robin.

Would not recommend. Owner would not let us see the pup’s mother or father. Researched the mom pup & found out she was 9 years old. Cannot believe they would breed a 9 year old. Unreal & cruel. The pup we got has significant behavioral issues in-line with how a rescue dog from a puppy mill behaves. Glad we got our pup away from there though. Do your due diligence, & go to a reputable breeder instead of mayne haven.
