Mason County Animal Shelter

I adopted a beautiful dog 3 days before christmas for my little ones and they held onto him until Christmas eve so he could be their Present from santa. They staff was genuinely friendly and caring

They don't accept cats anymore. I think Maysville is going to have a big coyote problem if they don't start doing something about the stray cats in the area. They need more funding from Mason County to do such. Maysville is a large enough town they should be able to do better in this regard. The people that work there are amazing and do extraordinarily well with the budget they are given. Over the winter, my family and I brought in 3 kittens from the elements. They just appeared on our back porch one day. When we tried to drop them off at the local animal shelter, this is when we found that they don't accept cats anymore. The ladies there are amazing! They rescued and sheltered my 2 dogs when I wasn’t able and when I picked them up, they were the happiest pups in the world. Talking with both ladies, I know that each of them gave my 2 all the love in the world! I can’t thank them enough!
