Dr. Roman and the MASH team keep my two cats healthy and thriving. I appreciate their holistic, caring and healthy approach to animal health care. They literally saved one of our cats when he stopped eating a few years ago. I am grateful to have Dr. Roman in our lives and hope to be with them for a long time.

I took my very sick cat in on June 19th. The vet said several times that she was concerned about my cats breathing but they did the planned procedure anyway. She died later that night. I am not accusing them of contributing to her death but I do not think that it was ethical to say nothing about how poor of a condition she was in. I don't understand why the decision to proceed was made, especially since they knew how I had to beg, borrow, and barter to pay for the treatment, which was nearly $1000. It felt like a money grab to me. I called that very day to tell them the awful way in which Tatiana passed and I didn't get a callback for days. I can't shake the feeling that I was taken advantage of in my vulnerable state.

I was treating my dog for a severely receded tooth with 02 therapy for like 5 months. Driving an hour once a week. The very last visit the vet looked at me when I showed her the area and said “oh!! I didn’t know that was there” and referred me to boxborough cuz they weren’t able to “fix that” ?!?!?! Then said I owed them $900 half was paid and they sent the other half to my credit: knowing my credit is perfect-I’ve been working on it for YEARS and I’m trying to buy a house. It just nose- dived because of this 14 POINTS. I will be contacting better business bureau, And the vet board. This isn’t the first time. The last with my other dog last year- I told them I couldn’t do anything outside of what Trupanion would cover and I ended up with a $1,200 bill and having to take her to MSPCA anyway

I took one of my dogs in today for his pre-op. appointment for his neuter next week. My dogs typically see Dr. Roman who we love, so I was hesitant to instead make an appointment with Dr. Soco when the receptionist told me that she is MASH’s lead surgeon because Dr. Roman no longer does surgeries. Needless to say, Dr. Soco is amazing and I couldn’t be happier that I met her! She is so friendly, kind and really took her time to discuss my dog’s pre- and post-operative care, as well as a few other concerns I’ve been having. I love her very holistic, honest and sensible views on pet healthcare and well-being, and she gave me some great tips as well. She is wonderful, as is the rest of the MASH crew! Very highly recommended and totally worth the drive.

I have had a great experience at this clinic. One of my dog's had Mast Cell Tumors as a puppy and our conventional vet only offered surgery and chemotherapy as a treatment. Instead, we chose to take our 12-week-old puppy to M.A.S.H. where they treated her cancer with a species appropriate diet and natural supplements. We had our amazing pup for 10 years which was a miracle! Now, I have another dog who is in good physical health but seemed to have anxiety issues and GI issues intermittently.
