I’m so thankful for this animal shelter and what they do for animals! We adopted in 2019 and can’t say enough about how amazing this shelter is. It’s clean, organized, ran by caring staff, and the services provided are outstanding! If you all remember Houdini, he is doing fabulous! He’s still playing hide & seek and just living the best life. We hope his brother found a home also. Thank you all for everything you do there. 10/10!
an amazing animal shelter one of the cleanest I have seen. the employees/ volunteers love every animal I have been there many times and every time it was amazing I have one of the dogs from there the most amazing dog I have ever had
I have experience with many shelters because of running a rescue myself for years and being a retired vet tech and dog trainer. Marshall County has one of the nicest animal shelters I've seen. Nice big cat room, spacious outdoor covered runs with off the ground cots, outdoor play yards with benches and toys so the dogs can interact with potential adopters. Friendly staff and volunteers. Along with pet supplies like collars and leashes. If you are looking for your next best friend or would like to donate pet food or other pet items, this is the place. If you are able I'm sure they are always looking for fosters too. Some animals just don't do well in a shelter environment and foster homes are important in helping them find their forever homes. Also, instead of donating to big country wide
I’ve gotten 3 kittens from this place and never once had any problems. The only bad reviews I see on here are from people who claim one thing but can’t show any documentation to support it (if you spend thousands of dollars on an animal you are going to have proof regardless of retirement) and if a dog is aggressive then they get put down so they don’t hurt others. The veterinarians are trained on this so claiming someone is lying makes no sense. If they don’t allow you to adopt it’s for a reason. Don’t put bad reviews on a non kill shelter that a. Makes sure people are safe. B. Makes sure animals are safe. C. Requires documentation and an application before adoption. That’s good practice. If you’re upset about that then you’re not the right person to be adopting. Putting bad reviews becau
Super friendly staff, very clean facilities. I went in to potentially adopt a dog to train as a ptsd service dog. They were very honest about potential issues with the dog i was there to meet. Unfortunately I had to go somewhere else to find my adventure buddy. I highly recommend this facility.
