Marks-A-Lot

We love marks a lot kennels! We have boarded our dog for over 2.5 years here and we have never had a problem. Very respectful and friendly owners. Only people I trust with my dog.

They have been amazing in training my pup. I am very happy with the care he is receiving while being here for training.

Dan and Marks A Lot Kennels are, by far, the best trainer/training facilities we have experienced. We have taken dogs to other trainers because they were close to where we lived, but have found that Dan has been a much better trainer for our dogs. We live in Idaho (1400 miles from Marks A Lot Kennels), but we actually took our black lab to Dan and Marks A Lot Kennels because he is the best! He was able to get our dog's Master Hunter title and we will be taking our next puppy to Dan as well. And, I might add that every dog is an individual to Dan, and he treats/trains them according to the dog's individual personality and needs. Dan truly loves dogs and what he does. I first met Dan when I purchased a puppy from him in 2005. He later trained her for me. I currently have a second puppy at his kennel for training. In every respect he has delivered what he promised and made himself available to me at my convenience. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of his training and attention to his clients.

Be VERY careful. What was promised and guaranteed did not happen. I took my dog to Marks-A-Lot kennel to get the basic obedience training and was very dissatisfied. The short end: Dan and the trainers didn’t evaluate my dog to see what she knew. She still had all of her bad habits. Dan treated me and my dog with much disrespect (threatened to set her loose on his grounds and/or tie her up to his fence until I got there to pick her up). Some details: Upon arrival Dan listened and agreed to what needed to be worked on. When I picked my pup up after a month, I quickly learned that she was not evaluated properly and learned nothing new from when I dropped her off. One of her worst habits that I was hoping to remedy is her jumping (which she still does today) and was not corrected by her trai
