Markenhaus Manor

AMAZING!!! We’ve been searching and trying different groomers for a few years and our favorite was in Massachusetts… so glad we found this WONDERFUL place a little closer! We brought out 6lb Bichon Papillion mix for a bath/grooming and we’ve never been happier. Sue and Ken took such great care of our Bentley, he came handsome and happy!

My wife and father tried to schedule boarding for our family vacation. My plans changed but my fathers didn’t. I left a message over a month in advance to cancel my reservation and only mine. They cancelled both of our reservations without ever confirming and are now booked leaving my dad with no options or ability to rectify the situation. The customer service has been very bad the entire time and now has put my dad’s vacation in jeopardy. Consider using one of the pet sitter apps. Way better.

After new management, my dog came back home, sad, thinner and sore. The first time we did not assume bad things about the place because we never had an issue before, we gave it another shot. But this is the second time. And my dog came back in the exactly same way, very sad and with muscle pains. My dog is a big dog! I do not know if the space or crate is too small, or if they mistreat him and leave him there 24/7. Something changed because we have never had this issue before. I wrote this post before new management: (Great service!! We have year leaving our dog every time we go out of town. We had never had an issue. Totally recommended!)

Such a great grooming and boarding facility. They are always accommodating and provide excellent care for our dog when we need to board her. This is the one place where she doesn't mind being separated from us! Excellent grooming services and they’ve even guided us in our pet parenting journey based on their years of experience and expertise with dogs. Can't recommend Markenhaus Manor enough.

We always take our Aussie here when we go out of town and can't take him with. He always seems like he has a good time. The staff are very friendly and I can tell everyone really cares about the dogs. The rates are very reasonable and I love that you can give your dog a long walk and bath at the end for just a little extra. I wish we could take our dog everywhere, but Markenhaus Manor is the next best thing.
