I take both my cat and dog there. I started going there during the pandemic when I couldn’t get in anywhere. Although a little more expensive than my last vet, I’m happy they’re very up front about their costs and the care my pets receive is worth it. Love the location too. Recently, my dog had an eye emergency, and they got her in right away and even connected with an eye doctor.

We were in search of a new vet for our cat Stevie girl & are wildly impressed with the care we received. Stevie is usually pretty on edge going into a clinic and going to the vet has been a poor experience. Watching our care team work with her and seeing how calm she was around them was all I needed to see. My partner and I on the way home couldn’t stop talking about how pleased we were. It’s a clean clinic, great friendly staff, to the point visit, health oriented and awareness of making the pet’s comfortability the priority. We started to go to Maple Leaf during the pandemic and I appreciated how they treated the passing of my dog, arranging for someone to come to our house and sending condolences. They did a great job with communication and building community at that time. For the past five years or so, with our new dog, I haven't been as happy with their care. The vets themselves have always been good. However, the front desk staff treats patients like strangers, or at least that has been my experience, with no recognition of your animal being part of their care community. My dog was incredibly anxious at every visit, and I never had a staff member notice or reach out until I got into the vet office itself. I could not be more glad that a friend and long time dad dog recommended this wonderful vet to us!!! The front desk staff, vet techs and vets have always been so caring, compassionate, patient and have consistently provided top notch care to my kitties Sam and Stella for the last 3 years. Their practice was full when I first reached out. But, they recommended checking in every week or 2. We were able to establish care in a few weeks and it was absolutely worth the short wait! I’m a sad, sensitive sack right now, so this review is informed by a terminal diagnosis received at Animal Medical Center, (advised by Maple Leaf for emergencies). My dog has only been established with Maple Leaf for less than 3 months, when we all thought she was a healthy girl. Dr.Libby, the techs, and front desk were very nice to work with. I felt Dr.Libby had a genuine interest and drive to help make the experience and treatment comfortable and transparent, and everyone asks permission before doing anything.
