Many Miles Home Rescue

We adopted Mr. Pickles in 2022 and Tallulah in 2026. All of the volunteers at Many Miles go above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with our two rescues.

I have adopted dogs (and cats) from many rescues and shelters over the last 30 years. Many Miles is top tier exceptional. The owners and staff are kind, thoughtful, intuitive, and really work to find good matches between humans and hounds. The facility is spotless, the runs are huge, the engagement is high, and the opportunities for exercise and enrichment are plentiful. I made the 200 mile round trip, only to find out my youngest dog was not a good match for the girl I had picked out. I then made a second round trip to meet one of her offspring. The feeling was mutual all around that it was a good fit. I made a final round trip to pick up the new member of our pack after she was spayed. I would drive those 600 miles again to adopt from this amazing facility.

The home where the dogs are kept is superb! Large, clean, fenced yard. Puppies everywhere! Cheryl was so kind and wonderful, as was the goat that escaped from across the road. Our puppy is sweet, healthy, and is well behaved. Can’t say enough good things about the whole experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning to the end of our process with Many Miles they were very responsive and transparent. The dogs here are taken care of and loved. You can tell the people (especially Judy) have there heart into this. Highly recommend. Thank you Many Miles to home! Happy adoption day to us!
