Long-time customer here, and this experience was genuinely shocking. I went from recommending Magnolia Animal Hospital to being abruptly cut off as a client with no explanation. In January 2025, I called to inquire about dental cleaning for one of my dogs. During that call, staff noted that I said I might shop around — which seems reasonable given the cost of the procedure. No issue was raised at the time. Fast forward to February 2026: I called to schedule a dental cleaning and was told my account was “under review,” then instructed to call back Monday. When I did, I was told the office manager would email me “when he gets a chance.” No reason was provided. No timeline. No discussion. Just dismissal. This is an amazing place to take your pets if you want a doctor that is actually knowledgeable and HONEST. Dr Jon is a very thorough doctor who has been around for quite some time, so he knows what he is doing, and is an expert in his field. I am telling you this because I know it to be the case considering I am very picky about service when it comes to my babies and he is the best! I have been to many vet practices in Wake County because I am particular when it comes to what I will accept for customer service and what I will not. This is the best practice around. You are also not going to be price gouged. Just take my word for this. Dr. Jon and his staff have been caring for my girl for about 4-5 years now. Best service I’ve received, best care, each employee I’ve encountered has loved on my dog so much! They approach with so much care and love! Dr. Jon is an expert in his practice and you can really feel confident in his hands! I’d leave more stars if I could!

The tech that cut my dogs nails two years ago, cut them so short that he still bleeds two years later after every walk if he does not walk in the grass. He will be 12 this year so his walks are very important and it’s a shame that they caused him so much pain. This is all preventable.. when I called, they suggested that I use the clotting agent. That does not fix The fact that his nail will never grow back!!! I am trying to upload photos. This is two years later. I have not touched the nails. This is permanently stunted and exposed.. To further my complaint, Magnolia animal Hospital attempted to reply and discount my claims on this review. No accountability! Magnolia Animal Hospital is FANTASTIC! Dr. Jon is kind, caring and his knowledge, experience and supportive honesty is refreshing. Our little dog was well cared for and the front office staff were also kind and efficient. A+ service and after many years with many vets for our pets, Dr. Jon and Magnolia are THE BEST!
